ImageProc : FAQ
Q: I have installed ImageProc, but after running the example code I only see the "Unregistered Version" message, and not the end result. How can I test the tag?
A: The ImageProc demonstration version operates in exactly the same way as the full version, however every time it is called, the Unregistered message will display on screen. All return variables and error messages will be available as normal, so check that you are outputting the correct variables.
Q: The text being output to the file is not displayed in the font I specified in the TEXT_FONT_NAME parameter.
A: The font you specify must be available on the server where ImageProc is installed.
Q: Does ImageProc work on ColdFusion MX?
A: PerthWeb are not currently running CFMX, so we have not done any testing ourselves. However, several customers have reported that ImageProc is running well on their CFMX servers. Please download the demo version and try it out on your server. If you do experience problems, the latest ColdFusion MX Updater may help.
Q: After installing the full registered version, the text_position and watermark_position attributes do not seem to be working like they were in the demo version.
A: If you were running a demo version of ImageProc version 1, and then purchased ImageProc version 2, you will find that some of the attributes have changed. This is to accomodate some of the new features, such as the ability to place multiple text items and multiple watermarks on one image, and to specify x and y co-ordinates as well as positioning keywords (left, right, top etc). Please check the documentation for the full list of attributes.
