Privacy & Security Policies
PerthWeb takes the privacy and security of our customers very seriously. These privacy and security policies have been formulated to comply with the recommendations on the Australian Privacy Commissioner's Website
Our server makes a record of your visit and logs the following information for statistical purposes - the user's server address, the user's top level domain name (eg. .com, .gov, .au, .uk etc.), the date and time of the visit to the site, the pages accessed and documents downloaded, the previous site visited and the type of browser used. No attempt will be made to identify users or their browsing activities except, in the unlikely event of an investigation, where a law enforcement agency may exercise a warrant to inspect the server's logs.
Your email address and other personal details will only be used for the purpose for which you have provided it. You will not be added to any mailing lists. We will not use your e-mail address for any other purpose, and will not disclose or sell it, without your consent.
The internet is inherently insecure, however steps can be taken to minimise the risk of your personal details being intercepted. Our order form uses a 128 bit secure certificate, to ensure that the details you provide are encrypted during transmission to the server.
When we receive your order, we print out the form and the email is destroyed. Once your credit card number has been successfully processed, this paper copy is also destroyed. Your name, company, and email address are kept for our accounting purposes.
Should you prefer not to transmit your sensitive data such as credit card numbers over the internet, we are happy for you to fax or mail your order to us. Details are provided on the order form.
