TextCrypt : FAQ
Q: I have installed TextCrypt, but after running the example code I only see the "Unregistered Version" message, and not the end result. How can I test the tag?
A: The TextCrypt demonstration version operates in exactly the same way as the full version, however every time it is called, the Unregistered message will display on screen. All return variables and error messages will be available as normal, so check that you are outputting the correct variables.
Q: Does TextCrypt work on ColdFusion MX?
A: PerthWeb are not currently running CFMX, so we have not done any testing ourselves. However, several customers have reported that TextCrypt is running well on their CFMX servers. Please download the demo version and try it out on your server. If you do experience problems, the latest ColdFusion MX Updater may help.
